I was given white jeans to create a purse. She also picked a piece of fabric with a farm design making sure the chicken shows on the purse. This was the only request. As I started cutting fabric a thought pooed in my head that this white jeans would make great fringe. From there this purse design was created.

It is always fun to up cycle an old pair of jeans into a usable item has been fun. I like to challenge myself and let the materials speak to me. This purse is Navy with a linen and white geometric pattern. It adds a level of sophistication which screams for a special touch such as ostrich feathers. This fringed purse can be used for everyday or a special function. I love when people give me a challenge and I surprise them in a good way.

This corsage set is a fun combination of a Blue Gerber Daisy and smaller dais and blue blues. It is a fun combination for a non-traditional girl that likes her flowers to be different but beautiful. It has a touch of white gauze ribbon to accent the flowers and soften the look.

Sometimes looking at flowers or nature in black and white helps you see more when not distracted by the colors. It is always neat to convert a few pictures to black and white. It gives the flowers a different feel and accentuates the structure.

Everything is blooming and I am excited to see the growth. Here is a snapshot of flowers in my garden. Also a few honey bees.

I started by drawing a Bison and a quote I liked on my whiteboard at work. I then asked AI to clean it up and switch the colors. I went one step further and asked AI to insert some of my pictures into the sketch. Here is my Bison Artwork .

This is a tied quilt which I completed recently. The front is filled with farm animals in the field. The back is a white flannel with yellow and blue polka dots that pull in some of the little bursts of colors sprinkled throughout the fabric. Such a fun pattern.

This quilt started with a small peice of fabric and wanting to try a walking quilt pattern which I saw on social media. The pattern turned out adorable and I expanded on the theme adding other material I found with a cattle/cow theme then backing it with a cow print back and binding with a pow print ruffle. This is totally farmstead and cowgirl dream!

A Tactical Quilt is a quilt that is made with various feeling fabric so it is not uniform. It gives kids especially special needs kids different feeling to rub their hands against. Most find it soothing but some use it to get over feeling textures they don’t like. This quilt has, minky, flannel, cotton, linen, cotton checker in different patterns along with two edges that are satin. Such a fun way to match scraps with various textures all in a Blue with bees matching patterns

Memorial Day is for remembering those who have passed and given us the gifts we have weither it is the military that gave their life to protect our freedom and way of life or it is our loved ones who helped to shape us, so take a moment to remember on this day.

Catching up on my porch. It has been up and down in temperature this year so I think we needed something bold not only for my door but porch also. Nothing like some flowers to make you smile coming home. Finally temperatures above freezing at night so I can put out plant!!

I love when people share pictures of my creations and even more when I make their dream come true. This one was a request and I surpassed what she requested. I am glad that I could make someone happy.
