Fiesta in a Crock Pot; Tequila Lime Chicken

This is a easy great recipe for making Shredded chicken for you taco party, burritos, or to make a stand out shredded chicken.

2 lbs boneless Chicken breast or 1 whole chicken

1 large Onion sliced

Season with Tequila Lime seasoning

1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder

1 lime zested

1 lime juiced 5 oz Tequila

Water to cover

In a crock pot or pot on the stove place chicken, onion, lime zest, lime juice, tequila, and water to cover.


Cook on low heat on stove or on medyin in a crockpot until it can be turned down to simmer.

Cook 3 hours then turn to low until ready to serve.


Shred in a separate bowl and add some juice from the pot.


Serve in tacos, burrito, enchilada, the sky is the limit and it adds a great flavor to your meals.
