The main thing to remember is to measure the fruit after smashed. Other recipes and even this one will say 2 quarts of berries. That measurement is before smashing. Makes sure you use the measurement for mashed berries which is 5 cups to 7 cups sugar. My last jam did not set because I used the unsmashed berries measurement instead of mashed.
This has turned out wonderful following the instructions. A definite keeper.
